In Hungary there are several car ferries, each one has their own fees and none are covered by the e-vignette.
None of them deboard directly on a tolled road either. However, as soon as you enter a toll road you require a valid e-vignette.
Danube (Duna) Crossings:
- Szob–Pilismarót — Danube Bend area north of Budapest
- Vác–Szentendre Island area
- Dunaszekcső–Baja area in southern Hungary
- Révfülöp–Balatonboglár — this is actually a Lake Balaton crossing, one of the most popular car ferries in Hungary
Tisza Crossings:
- Several smaller car ferry crossings exist over the Tisza in eastern Hungary
