Penalties for HU-GO violations

If you get caught with a vehicle over 3.5t without valid HU-GO registration heavy fines apply:

• When paid promptly the fine is approximately 300–400 €
• When paid late the fine is approximately 600-800 €
• When unpaid and escalated the amount raises easily over 1000 €

Please note: The Hungarian toll company works with EU-authorities and fines will be enforced also in countries other than Hungary.
