It depends on the following factors. If the pulling vehicle falls under the category D2 a separate e-vignette (category U) has to be purchased. Check the categories here.
Vehicles (and vehicle + trailer combinations) that have a total permissible weight of over 3.5 tonnes use the distance based toll system (HU-GO).
